Terms of Service

EngifyHub is in a free public beta. You own the drawings and data you create, and you can export them at any time. The service is provided as-is while we build it: features may change, and there is no uptime guarantee yet.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of EngifyHub, a web application for authoring engineering diagrams and documents (the "Service"). "EngifyHub", "we" and "us" refer to the operator of the Service. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms for it, and "you" includes that company.

1. Beta service

The Service is offered as a free beta. While it is in beta:

  • it is provided without any service level agreement (SLA), availability commitment or support commitment;
  • features may be added, changed or removed, and the Service may be interrupted for maintenance or upgrades;
  • we do not charge for the Service. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you in advance and your existing data will be kept; you will never be charged without explicitly choosing a paid plan.

The Service is a drafting tool. You remain responsible for the engineering content of your drawings, and for checking them against the codes, standards and requirements that apply to your project. Nothing produced by the Service replaces review by a qualified professional.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when you sign up and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at legal@engifyhub.com if you suspect unauthorized access. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

3. Your content

You own your content: the projects, drawings, documents, equipment data, symbols and files you create or upload ("Customer Content"). We claim no ownership of it.

You grant us a limited license to host, store, copy, process and display Customer Content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the Service for you, including sharing it with the people you invite or send a share link to. We do not sell Customer Content and do not use it to train machine-learning models.

You are responsible for having the rights to the content you upload and for what you choose to share with others.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone's rights using the Service;
  • upload malware, or content you have no right to store or share;
  • probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service, or bypass its security or access controls, without our written permission;
  • overload or disrupt the Service, including through automated access beyond normal use of the application;
  • access another user's data without authorization, or resell the Service without our agreement.

5. Feedback

Beta feedback is welcome. If you send us suggestions, we may use them to improve the Service without any obligation to you.

6. Termination and data export

You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing legal@engifyhub.com. We may suspend or terminate access for a breach of these Terms, or end the beta, with reasonable notice where possible.

You can export your drawings (for example as PDF) at any time while your account is active. If we end the beta or terminate your account for a reason other than a breach, we will give you at least 30 days to export your Customer Content. After an account is closed, we delete its Customer Content within the period described in our Privacy Policy, except where the law requires us to keep it.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free or that data will never be lost. Keep your own copies of important work.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Because the beta is free, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes by email or in the Service before they take effect, and the effective date at the top of this page will change. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the updated Terms.
